Young musicians delighted a packed out audience for the first event in the College’s 2022/23 music and performing arts calendar.
The annual Musical Soirée, held in the College’s historic Brunner Hall, saw 35 gifted and talented musicians perform a mix of solo and small ensemble pieces.
The audience were treated to a number of classical pieces, from the likes of Debussy and Haydn as well as more contemporary favourites from Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra and Billy Joel.
Harry Dichmont, Director of Music at the College, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who joined us for this very special event and the first in an exciting programme of music and performing arts this year.
“I was so impressed with the level of talent and commitment from all our young musicians and we are all now looking forward to our next performance.”
